Dr Ian Gauci and Dr Terence Cassar are part of a group of twenty data protection lawyers that have come together to form the Malta Institute of Privacy Law (MIPL). The aim of the institute is to act as a central point of reference in discussions with public authorities relating to the formulation of legislation, sectorial policies and guidelines dealing with data protection

The MIPL was formed on the 25th May 2023, on the 5th anniversary from coming into force of GDPR.
